उत्तराखंड में पाए जाने वाला फल जो काफल नाम से जाना जाता है इस फल को देवी देवताओ 

का पसंदीदा फल भी माना जाता है 

उत्तराखंड अपनी खूबसूरती के लिये काफी मशहूर माना जाता है उत्तराखंड में कई तरह के फल पाये जाते है उनमे से एक फल काफल भी है आज हम इसी फल का जिक्र करेंगे जो अपने आप में सबसे अनोखा फल है 

यह सेह्तुत की तरह दिखने वाला फल है जो हिमायल के पहाड़ो में पाया जाता है यह जब कच्चा रहता है तो हरे रंग का रहता और जब ये पकने लगता है तो पहले लाल फिर काले रंग का हो जाता है यह फल गर्मियों के दिनों में होता है इस फल से पहाड़ी लोगो का राज़गार भी जुड़ा है यहाँ के लोग दिन भर जंगलो में घूमते  है इससे इकठा करते है और आस पास के शहरी इलाको में इसे बेचते है इस तरह इन लोगो की कुछ आमदनी भी हो जाती है 

यहाँ के लोग काफल को देवी देवताओ का फल भी मानते है कुमाऊं और गढ़वाल के गीतों में इसका जिक्र सुना  जाता है यह स्वास्थ के लिये काफी लाभदायक फल और काफी स्वादिस्ट फल भी है इस फल में  कई तरह के फायदे होने के बाद भी ये अन्य राज्यों तक नहीं पहुंच पता है इसका मुख्य कारण यह है की ये फल 24-25 घंटो में ही ख़राब होने लगता है जब इसकी उचित रख रखाव की व्यवस्था होने लगेगी तो अन्य राज्यों के लोग भी इसका स्वाद ले पायेंगे।

This fruit is also associated with the interest of the hill people, people here roam in the forest all day and collect it and sell it in the nearby urban areas, thus these people also get some income.

People here consider Kafal to be the fruit of the Gods and Goddesses and it is heard in the songs of Kumaon and Garhwal.It is a very beneficial fruit for health and quite a testy fruit, even after having many benefits in this fruit, these other states It is not known that the main reason for this is that this fruit starts to deteriorate within 24-25 hours, when the system of proper maintenance is started, then people of other states will also be able to taste it.
